【學生帶路 — — 由認知社區開始】

你有否想到自己身處的這個熟悉社區,正是一個個社群、家庭、個體每天上演著各齣人生戲碼,以及充滿著回憶故事的地方呢?

本年初,我以街坊帶路聯合創辦人的身份到位於沙田的浸信會呂明才中學,與一眾中一及中二學生分享「社區創新」的概念,希望可藉此啟發同學們由一小步做起,以人文角度去連結和回應自身社區。

透過熱身小遊戲、街坊的真實經歷,以及社區連結作教學,其實「社區創新」的基本思維不難明白。在活動完結前,同學們在我們機構自家設計的各區明信片上,寫上他們對社區的新發現和感想,再次提醒著我心懷的一個願景:我希望每間學校也能培訓出所屬的社區導賞團隊,各位學生導賞員也能從個體獨立的角度去探索社區的獨特性;同學們在校內學習知識,在課外回歸社區,繼續延伸學習,走進新世代的教育模式。

【𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬】

It was so great to see our next generation takes interest in understanding the concept of social enterprise. We held a talk for the Form 1 and 2 students from the Baptist Lui Ming Choi Secondary School in Sha Tin early this year with the theme “Social Innovation”, as the very first step to inspire them to connect with the districts and communities they are living in.

The talk was designed to help students explore the relationship between an individual and the community (using Sha Tin as an example) through creative and emotional perspectives. From the feedback that students wrote on the postcards printed by us, I can see that the life stories of Kaifongs and the hands-on tools for doing community observations we shared totally give them new insights to review their identity as community members, and what they can do for the community.

We believe that social innovation starts with a passion for your own community, and community-based tourism is an effective medium to achieve the goal. By planting a seed inside their hearts, I sincerely hope that there will be a team of student community tour guides in each school in the future, ready and proud to show the tour participants the uniqueness of the district and community.
